The head of the Seiro Kan Dojo Group is Brian Morrison, one of the chief instructors of Eikoku Roshukai. He started his Japanese Sword Studies, as did most of the Senior practioners in this country, with the study of the Seita Gata of the Kendo Associations. However wanting to study Koryu, as did many others, he joined the breakaway group that eventually became The Eikoku Roshukai with its adoption by Iwata Sensei. Brian has dedicated his time to pass on the teachings of Iwata Norikazu Sensei, to the best of his ability. The name Seirokan was given to Brian personally by Iwata Sensei, to use as his Dojo name. |

IAIDO
Encompasses the study of Japanese swordsman-ship, more specifically the use of the two handed sword known as the KATANA. Beyond the physical mechanics of manipulating the sword, IAIDO introduces the practitioner to metaphysical concepts of philosophy and self-knowledge. It is in this area that IAIDO contributes to humanity.
