over 100 tractors take part each year
all driven by ladies only

For the past 8 years ladies from around Great Britain have travelled to Norfolk to take part in an amazing fundraiser for Breast Cancer Awareness.

The 2011 Road Run was held on Sunday 3rd July 2011

We had a most fantastic day as you probably know.  There were 120 ladies on 118 tractors, the sun shone, it was very pink and everyone completed the route!

We raised over £38,000 this year, a record! The total amount for the 8 runs since 2004 is £223,000 ... stunning!

Annie

In 2010 we raised just over £35,000 not including Gift Aid!!

We came 6th with our Christmas Tree in 2010 in Dickleburgh Church
and won £50 for our charity!

Annie has been awarded the Cancer Research UK
Volunteer of the Year Award 2008

for all her work towards fundraising for the charity.

She and John went to the Cafe Royal in Piccadilly to collect the award
at the beginning of June. Annie is shown here with the chairman of Cancer Research UK, David Newbiggin presenting her with the Flame of Hope award.

Congratulations Annie

Each year the team has welcomed new entrants joining an established group of regulars, some of whom have participated in all 8 runs.  Breast Cancer is still very much a harsh reality and the threat of that disease is never far away.
