As interest for the event spread country-wide, the need for a larger starting point was realised and this year, we were given permission by the Woodrow family to set off from Airfield Farm, Topcroft.
Here 86 participants set off on 2nd July, on what was probably the hottest day of the year - 33 deg. The journey took us through fields and lanes, as well as through the centre of Harleston to cheers and encouragement from on-lookers. We raised £26,000 in 2006 for our very special cause.
